I am Jingfeng Ou, a Ph.D. student at Nanjing University. My research focuses on spatial reasoning in multimodal models and physics-grounded video generation. I am interested in how models represent 3D space, predict physical dynamics, and use these representations to generate controllable videos.

Before my Ph.D., I pursued my master’s studies at the Southern University of Science and Technology, jointly with the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. My earlier work explored machine learning for feature selection, single-cell perturbation prediction, and biomedical applications.

🔬 Research Interests

  • Spatial reasoning: spatial representations, transformations, and reasoning in multimodal models.
  • Physics-grounded video generation: controllable generation guided by 3D trajectories, material dynamics, and physical interactions.
  • 3D dynamics and world models: learning scene states and their evolution to predict future observations and action outcomes.
